    Putrajaya Holdings Sdn Bhd (PjH) incorporated as Master Developer & Financier of Putrajaya by the Malaysian Government.

  • 1996 – 1998

    1996
    Phase 1 construction of the following begin:
    • Prime Minister’s Office Complex
    • Dataran Putra, Precinct 1
    • Masjid Putra, Precinct 1


    1997
    Ground Breaking Ceremony for the PrimeMinister’s Office Complex


    1998
    Putrajaya official launch: ‘Birth of a City – Putrajaya’

  • 1999

    PjH awarded Anugerah Industri Rekabentuk Dalaman
    • Malaysian Society of Interior Designers (MSID)
    • Phase 1 Government Quarters construction begins.
    • Inundation of Putrajaya Lake


    Opened to the public:
    • Wetlands Park, largest constructed freshwater wetlands park in Asia.
    • Dataran Putra, Precinct 1
    • Masjid Putra, Precinct 1
    • Klinik Kesihatan, Precinct 9

  • 2000-2001

    2000
    • Putrajaya Hospital handed over to the Ministry of Health
    • Smart Schools in Precincts 8 & 9 open for 1st intake


    2001
    • Putrajaya declared a Federal Territory
    • Putrajaya Convention Centre construction begins
    • PjH issued RM2.15b Al-Bai Bithaman Ajil Serial Bonds

    • Istana Selangor completed
    • Putrajaya Lake officiated & opened
    • Phase 2 Government Quarters construction begins.


    2003
    • Palace of Justice completed
    • 1st Commercial Building, the PjH HQ in Putrajaya completed

    Alamanda Putrajaya opened.

    • PjH 1st Commercial Land Transaction
    • PjH signs RM24m agreement with Bliss Avenue for Commercial Lot in Precinct 3
    • Nexus World-School, 1st international school in Putrajaya opens

    • PjH awarded the Merit Award for Environment
    PETRONAS Group Health, Safety and Environment & Sustainable Development Award 2008/2009
    • Nexus World-School invests RM10m to build on-site boarding house for students


    2010
    • Ayer @ 8, 1st waterfront commercial launched.
    • PjH sells commercial building to Pelaburan Hartanah Berhad (PHB).

  • 2011-2012

    2011
    • 1st completed Commercial Building (2C1) sold to Kementerian Wilayah Persekutuan
    • The 1Malaysia Housing Programme (PR1MA) launched

    • New PjH HQ, Menara PjH completed

    • The Everly Putrajaya opened
    • Launch of 1st Perumahan Penjawat Awam 1Malaysia (PPA1M) in Malaysia

    • Tamara Residence, 1st Lakeview Condo launched
